For Hip Hop beats one needs an extensive library of different styles of Beats, especially when one is starting out. It is easier for a pro to hear the sound in his head and identify that sound on software or a keyboard he may be working on. When I first started out, I was demented with beats, always having them crystal clear in my head, but never able to really get them down on the software I had. Then I discovered the handy portal of Sonic Producer and it took all the bullshit out of making Hip Hop and Rap Beats. This is the easiest to work on and the most extensive to work with.

I am not going to tell you how good or bad it is, only that it worked for me. I have about 70 songs that I created exclusively on Sonic and many more that I mastered and produced using Sonic with other software. If you are beggining, this is especially handy and should be looked at first and foremost. It is also the cheapest (by far).
